Prairie View
was founded by a group of volunteers who saw a need and stepped
forward to address it. That strong spirit of volunteerism
is still present at Prairie View today. Volunteer programs
at Prairie View have received national recognition for innovation
and service provided. With continued dedication to the Prairie
View mission, the volunteer program offers a wide range of positions
within our own clinical settings, and in the communities we serve.
Volunteers bring
with them an endless variety of talents and interests. In
the climate of change faced by health care providers, volunteers
are a more valuable resource than ever before. Whether you
prefer a short-term project or event, or are able to make an ongoing
commitment, Prairie View has a place for you. Volunteers often
share their feelings of gratification at receiving as much as they
give in their volunteer roles. Whether you have a lot of time
to give, or just a little, your efforts make a difference.
How do you volunteer?
The first step is to complete a Volunteer Application.
This will help Prairie View to determine the area of volunteer activity you would be most comfortable with and that best utilizes your skills.
The following
is a list of current Prairie View volunteer opportunities:
